Teenage mental health is the general well-being of a young person’s state of mind. It includes an adolescent’s ability to handle common stress such as family issues and school. If a person’s mental health is poor, he/she may have emotional, behavioral, or psychological issues. The number of young people experiencing mental health issues is on the rise, but fortunately there are numerous facilities providing treatment services. Maintaining mental health increases productivity and positive social relationships, increasing a youth’s overall sense of well-being.
