Residential Treatment Centers

Residential Treatment Centers

Noun

Residential treatment centers for teens are specialized facilities which provide in-patient mental health treatment for adolescents. Oftentimes, the therapeutic approach is customized to the individual’s needs, and can include a variety of methods, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, equine therapy, counseling services and/or medication. Many residential treatment centers are coed, while others offer gender-based care, and there are even some programs which integrate an academic element into their treatment plans.
