Boot Camp

Boot Camp

Noun

Boot camps can be state-owned, constituting the penal and correctional system of certain countries, but a large percentage of these facilities are in the USA. Privately owned boot camps use similar approaches and provide programs as short term options for the teens whose parents feel they have lost control or who desire behavior modification. These programs are modeled in the likeness of military trainee camps and feature confinement centered on military practices. Studies indicate that the hostile training used can at times be detrimental to participants.
