Foundations Asheville is a transition program for young adults located in Asheville, NC.
Foundations Asheville is intended for young adults who are struggling to find a sense of independence in their lives.
At Foundations, students are exposed to real-world experiences while living in a structured, supportive environment. Therapists, teachers, and mentors work collaboratively to help students meet specific goals during their time at Foundations.
Students are provided with individualized support in order to “spread their wings” and meet their set goals. Foundations offers a variety of educational experiences including life skills classes, service learning, vocational training, and adventure excursions.
While at Foundations, young adults are encouraged to attend four-year universities or community colleges to further their education. Along with other various benefits of higher education, it provides young adults with structure and purpose, which supports the overall goals of Foundations.
Foundations Asheville helps young adults who are struggling to set goals and find the motivation to achieve their dreams feel empowered to go out into the world and learn more about their passions and what the next step in their lives will be.
